Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
The short version: OP Clips is a tool for editing videos. Only use it with videos you made yourself or have permission to use. You are responsible for what you upload, download and publish. OP Clips is free, provided as it is, and comes without guarantees.
Accepting these terms
By clicking Start editor, or by using OP Clips in any other way, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
Who can use OP Clips
You may only use OP Clips if you are allowed to accept these terms under the laws that apply to you. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
What OP Clips does
OP Clips lets you paste a link to a publicly available video (for example from Twitch, YouTube, TikTok or Facebook) or upload your own video file, edit it in the browser and export a vertical video. OP Clips is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Meta, Google or any other platform.
Your responsibility for content
You alone are responsible for every link you submit, every file you upload and everything you do with the videos you create. Before using a video in OP Clips, you must make sure that:
- you own the video, or the rights holder has given you permission to use it, or your use is otherwise allowed by law;
- your use respects the rules of the platform the video comes from and the platform where you publish it;
- the video does not violate anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
OP Clips does not check submitted links or files and cannot know whether you have the rights you need. The fact that OP Clips can technically process a video does not mean you are allowed to use it.
What you must not do
- Use OP Clips for anything illegal, including copyright infringement.
- Submit private videos, links that contain passwords or access tokens, or content you are not allowed to access.
- Upload illegal, harmful or abusive material, or malware.
- Try to get around rate limits, security measures or other restrictions.
- Use bots or scripts to send large numbers of requests, or otherwise overload the service.
- Copy, resell or present OP Clips as your own service.
How your videos are handled
Links and uploaded files are processed temporarily so the editor and the export can work. Temporary files are deleted automatically and are not used for anything else. OP Clips does not claim any ownership of your content. Rights to third-party videos always stay with their owners. Read more about cookies and statistics on the Privacy & cookies page.
Limits and availability
OP Clips is a free beta. We may limit how much you can use it (for example the number of renders per hour), change or remove features, or take the service offline at any time without notice. Some links may stop working when a platform changes how it works.
No warranty
OP Clips is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will work for every link, always be available, be error-free or produce a particular result. You use OP Clips at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the people behind OP Clips are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including failed downloads or renders, lost files, or claims from third parties about content you processed or published. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
Claims caused by your use
If someone makes a claim against OP Clips because of content you submitted or published, or because you broke these terms or the law, you are responsible for that claim and any costs it causes, to the extent the law allows.
Copyright complaints
OP Clips does not host or publish videos. If you believe your content has been misused, please contact the person who published it, or the platform where it was published.
Blocking access
We may block or limit access for users, networks or links if we believe these terms are being broken, or to protect the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using OP Clips after an update, the new terms apply.
